A little back story…we went to Galveston a few months back during fall break, and had a beach portrait session with my friend from Sugar Pies Photography, and I fully intended on using some from there for our Christmas card this year. Ya know, “warmest wishes…”

Well, what do you know, it got closer to Christmas and I realllllly got the itch do something more “Christmasy” for our cards this year. I thought it would be fun to do some fancy, snow throwing, candid shots. My girls love wearing fancy dresses and kids LOVE playing and throwing things like snow and glitter, right?  Let’s face it, it’s pretty much the faux snow is closest way we get to snow here in Austin, Texas. So…we got fancied up, headed to the studio, and had SNOW much fun…well maybe=) It was a lot of work, and not everyone wanted to cooperate at the same time, but, in the end, it was worth it!!! I’m fairly certain these studio snow sessions will make their debut at the RDP studio next year for kids and families!!! Here are a few of my favorites…

I’ve had such a busy, busy season and am SO grateful. I still have a lot to share from this past month, but I will save it for after the break, my break. I’m taking the next few weeks off social media (still have a couple sessions before the end of the year) but I will return to posting after the first of the year, and promise to come BACK with a BANG! Remember…January is my business birthday month…=) Thank you SO much to all of my clients. You all are such a dream to work with and I enjoy seeing your families grow over the years. I am SO SO excited for 2019…see you then! Merry Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year from my family to yours!
