Baby Knox recently came into the studio, at five weeks old!!! As an Austin newborn photographer, one of the number one questions I receive about newborn sessions is about timing. When is the best time to schedule my portraits? Well, short answer is any! Any time is the perfect time. I would never want my clients to miss out on any time to preserve memories. While I prefer the first two weeks of life, I will always say, I’ve had a five day old, and as old as six weeks for a “newborn” session, and you want to know what?!? They have all had amazing sessions! This little guy at five weeks was no different! We even captured a few images with his sweet little eyes open. Every baby is different, every session is different. I prep my clients fully, no matter what session, so they can be best prepared and know what to expect, and to have success. I’d say we do pretty well…
