With Mother’s day just around the corner, we’ve rounded up the best ways to treat yourself this Mother’s day in Austin!
Being a mother is the hardest job in the world, and mamas and moms-to-be deserve to be spoiled and appreciated on their special day. Whether you are looking for yourself or your mom, or mother in law, I hope these ideas for Mother’s Day special treats, restaurants, experiences, and places to get pampered right here in Austin is just what you are looking for!
2. Brunch: Who doesn’t love a good brunch? Enjoy a Mother’s Day brunch at one of our many delicious local restaurants. Some great options include Cafe Josie, Juliet Italian Kitchen, Josephine House, and Chez Zee American Bistro. Be sure to make your reservations in advance, as brunch spots can fill up quickly. 
3. Outdoor Adventure: If you are a lover of the great outdoors, plan an outdoor adventure for your special day. Austin and the surrounding area are home to so many great parks, greenbelts, and trails and the springtime is the perfect time to explore them! Some favorites include Mount Bonnell, Barton Creek Greenbelt, Bull Creek, or even taking a kayak or paddleboard tour on Lady Bird Lake. 
5. Wine Tasting: Obviously this one is not for the expecting mamas, but definitely one to bookmark for next year if you are! In Austin, we are so fortunate to be surrounded by so many amazing wineries, breweries, and distilleries. You can even take the day to tour and experience all that the Texas Hill Country has to offer, including Duchman Family Winery, Fall Creek Vineyards, and the Driftwood Estate Winery.
