As an Austin Maternity photographer, I thought I would share five reasons to have a studio maternity session in Austin. One of the most frequently asked questions I receive is whether to have a maternity session outdoors or in studio. I’ve rounded up my top five reasons to choose my studio to have your maternity session.

My studio setting offers complete control over lighting, temperature, and background, that allows me to create timeless images for you. We don’t have to worry about the Texas weather, bugs, or anything else you may not like about the outdoors.

When we have a blank slate to shoot with, our creativity is endless. We can use several items from my studio wardrobe, florals, canvases, and other props that make your session unique. We have endless options to ensure your session is memorable and unique.
3. Privacy and Comfort
My studio provides a private and comfortable space, which is especially important for expecting mothers who may feel self-conscious or uncomfortable or like we mentioned, don’t want to deal with the weather and outside elements.
4. Control
Maybe your little one is in the phase or running and exploring everything everywhere. The studio offers a controlled environment where your little one is safe from any outdoor elements to run around and explore. This is a great option if you are at all worried about your toddler exploring too much outdoors.
